ArthroCare is working with leading centers around the
world to complete “SPINE,” Study of Percutaneous
Intradiscal Nucleoplasty Efficacy, a prospective, randomized,
controlled, multi-center clinical study, which commenced
in January. The Spine study will compare the effectiveness
of percutaneous plasma disc decompression(PPD) to conservative
care in the treatment of patients with symptomatic contained
herniated discs.
